Access important Dutch audio-visual collections (radio, television, films, oral history interviews) and contextual material. All available collections and their data are registered in a common inventory.
Due to changes in Sound and Vision metadata, the way of determining what is TV and what is radio is now different. All old items should still appear in the TV and radio collections, while new items will be added according to the new rules. Please get in touch if you miss anything that you would expect to see.
The Media Suite is a research environment of the Dutch infrastructure for digital humanities and social sciences (CLARIAH). It facilitates scholarly research with large Dutch media collections by providing advanced search and analysis tools.
To get started, see the Media Suite Quick Guide. Learn about the different collections and familiarize yourself with the available features and tools. Next to the basics, this guide also provides links to in-depth tutorials and resources.
Have a look at our data stories: narratives interspersed with visualisations gleaned from facts and figures extracted from the data in the CLARIAH infrastructure, as part of a scholarly investigation, a datathon, or assembled by archivists inspired by events in the news!
